Seek Out Danger, on Bainbridge Island

In their own words, Danger is: Inspired Northwest living featuring local art work of many mediums, beautiful unique jewelry, fabulous home furnishings and an eclectic mix of items you won’t find anywhere else.

Truly something for everyone here & for every occasion!

The owners are all artists themselves, and showcase their handmade creations along with those of other local artists & artisans. Folks flock to Danger for gifts, for decor & statement pieces, or to add little bits of pizzaz to their world.

(One can also order sofas and area rugs in an abundance of colors and finishes- both at Danger or at Dana's Showhouse across the way in downtown Winslow.)

Meet the Makers...

Myorian Studio by Dave & Kelly

Front and center at Danger is the work coming out of the Myorian Studio, a collaborative effort of metal and glass between Dave Myers (below) and fellow artist (aka his wonderful wife) Kelly Asadorian.

My own hallway is blessed by the work of Dave & Kelly and visitors cannot help but ask questions about their piece.

Sara Baetz started making and selling jewelry for the Farmer's Market years ago. Her brand, Ginger Jewelry, took off and is now a staple of the store (of which she is part owner as well).

Her smaller pieces come in a tell-tale metal mint tin, stamped with the Ginger Jewelry logo. And every holiday season I am beyond myself to discover that treasure inside!

Vegan Handbags by Crystalyn Kae

Beautiful and hardy, these bags by Crystalyn Kae are made of canvas prepared with magic* to look and feel just like leather. Cows be happy!

There are a rainbow of colors and bag styles to choose from with beautiful interior details - linings of colorful silks, and canvas & more.

Handiwork in a Half Shell by Lisa O'Malley

Bainbridge's own, Lisa O'Malley, started making these beautiful half-shells during the pandemic. And she just cannot stop! Perfect for gifts (I just gave one to my boss!), perfect for holding your business cards, or earrings, rings... candy! At under $20, they are the perfect price point for a host/hostess gift this fall season as well.

A sample of her growing inventory. She takes requests!

The Ceramic Work of Gareth Williams

Gareth is a master of ceramics, more recently delving into luminaries and musical instruments in this medium.

He is a longtime Islander, and chef, and he

tends to not take himself too seriously.
